Dr. Darlen Gonzalez is a skilled and compassionate general dentist with a strong focus on family care, preventive treatment, and patient education. She is fluent in English & Spanish, and determined to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their treatment.
Originally from Cuba, Dr. Gonzalez moved to the U.S. at a young age and earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from Florida International University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2016. After practicing alongside her mother in Florida for several years, she returned to Maryland to pursue her vision of building a practice centered on personalized, family-focused care.

Dr. Gonzalez enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in working with patients of all ages. She is certified in Invisalign and regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology.

Outside the Office:

Dr. Gonzalez and her husband are raising twin daughters who share their love of travel and the outdoors. As a family, they are working toward a goal of visiting every U.S. National Park!

Our assistants work closely with Dr. Gonzalez to support each procedure and guide patients through their care. They help ensure appointments run smoothly and provide reassurance when patients feel nervous or have questions.

We’re thrilled to introduce Kimmy, a valued member of our dental team. With many years of experience in the dental field, Kimmy is dedicated to ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease during your appointment. Her calm and caring presence helps make every visit a positive one.

Outside of the office, Kimmy loves spending time outdoors. Whether she’s hiking, snowboarding, wake surfing, or working out, she’s always on the move! If you happen to see her out and about, don’t hesitate to say hello—she’s always happy to connect!

Meet Maria, who brings many years of experience in the dental field.

Maria is passionate about helping patients navigate their care with ease and confidence. Whether it’s understanding insurance benefits, assisting with claims, or simply listening with empathy and a warm smile ( yes, even over the phone).

Outside of work, she enjoys peaceful walks with her beloved fur baby, Kramer- because “everyone should know the joy of having a dog”- she also cherishes spending quality time with her family and living by one of her sayings: “Enjoy the simple things that life offers you “.

Our hygienists are known for their gentle cleanings, attention to detail, and patient education. Whether you’re in for a routine visit or more advanced periodontal care, our hygiene team ensures a comfortable, thorough experience.

April has been a practicing Registered Dental Hygienist since 2022, when she graduated from the dental hygiene program at Hagerstown Community College. After working in administrative roles for many years, she made the decision to return to school in her late 20s to pursue her passion for patient care. April loves getting to know each patient and takes pride in educating them on how to achieve their best oral health with personalized care and practical tips that work for their lifestyle. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, and exploring all kinds of arts and crafts.
